Dedicated Fly Fishing Shop Opens in South Tampa
Local fly fisherman opens Tampa Bay On The Fly, Grand Opening Scheduled for October 14
Tampa, Fla. (September 15, 2010) – For the first time in over ten years, a fly fishing shop owned by a local fisherman will open for business in South Tampa. Tampa Bay On The Fly is slated to open October 1, 2010, with the Grand Opening Celebration scheduled for October 14. This dedicated fresh and salt water fly fishing tackle shop plans to be anything but your basic bait and tackle. Owned and operated by a local fly fisherman with 25 years of experience, Tampa Bay On The Fly offers more brands, more inventory and more expert advice than any other store of its kind in the area.
“I really care about advancing the sport of fly fishing within the Tampa Bay community and among younger generations. People should know fly fishing is not just for the streams of Montana. Salt water fly fishing is one of the most exciting adventures you can experience,” says owner and long-time local fisherman, Enver Hysni. “I also think it is important for the younger generations to get outside and enjoy these favorite past times, not just play them on a computer game.”
Whether it’s Redfish, Snook, or Baby Tarpon you are after, the rivers, lakes, gulf, and waters of Tampa Bay offer some of the greatest fresh and salt water fly fishing to be had. And Tampa Bay On The Fly has the gear, materials, and instruction you’ll need to reel them in. Novice fly fisherman need not worry, Tampa Bay On The Fly offers “get started” combo kits for holiday gifts and those just beginning.
The online store and website for Tampa Bay On The Fly offers expert information geared toward both the novice and experienced fisherman. Online, you can find out “What’s Biting Now”, “How To Catch Them”, and “What Flies to Use”; all fantastic resources for the area fly fisher. The store also offers weekly fly tying classes on Tuesday nights. Each class will be themed towards learning how to tie a particular fly for the fish in season with some family night classes. Check the website for more details. Tampa Bay On The Fly opens October 1, and the Official Grand Opening celebration is scheduled for October 14 at 7pm.
